FIERA MILANO OPENS A REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN MIAMI
The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, Southeast, will be hosting the desk of the most important Italian trade show service provider, also one of the largest in world
(Miami, September 12, 2006) - The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast (IACC) announces the recent opening in its Miami office of the representative desk for the Southeast of Fiera Milano, the most important Italian trade show service provider and one of the largest worldwide.
The opening of Fiera Milano branch at the IACC, located in Downtown Miami, is of extreme significance for all Florida’s entrepreneurs actively involved in commercial relations with Europe and, in particular, with Italy. It will promote trade shows; organize business meetings and offer assistance to exhibitors and buyers with logistics, both in Florida and in Milano. The desk will be also an easy access information center for operators interested in participating in these events.
Fiera Milano S.p.a, a public company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, manages exhibition space rentals and is directly involved in the organization of important trade events such as MiWine (wine), BuildUp (building machineries and supplies) and Milano Vende Moda (fashion).
“The agreement with Fiera Milano supports our goal of providing a strategic business platform to Florida’s entrepreneurs seeking to find partners in Europe,” said IACC’s President, Giampiero Di Persia. “This initiative shows the positive perception and growing interest of Italian economic and commercial players on the entire Southeast of the U.S.”
Every year, Fiera Milano hosts over 75 exhibitions, conferences and trade shows, most of them of international significance, attracting 30,000 exhibitors and 4.5 million visitors altogether.
Among the most famous and visited international trade shows are: MACEF (home accessories, glass and silverware); MICAM (footwear); MIPEL (leather goods); the International Furniture Exhibit (a must for interior designers); MIDO (eyewear) and SMAU (ICT and consumer electronics).
